Founded in 2008 in the heart of the Black Hills, Western Construction, Inc. is built on four generations of experience in gravel crushing, heavy construction, and general contractor services. The Lien family’s legacy in the industry dates back to 1916, beginning with M.E. Lien and Sons and continuing through E.L. Lien and Sons, Tom Lien Construction, and now Western Construction, Inc. a company founded by third and fourth-generation family members.

Even visitors are required to follow safety protocols, including wearing hard hats and closed-toe shoes, to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Our commitment to safety helps us deliver reliable, timely results and has earned our team consecutive years of MSHA safe operator awards.
