Pea gravel can be used in several above ground projects, such as garden and flower bed landscaping, and accenting trees and shrubbery. Because of its smooth texture and color, it’s also often used for playgrounds, walkways, and other high traffic areas.
Similar to crushed stone, pea gravel can also be used for underground projects such as drainage and pipe bedding, as well as used as aggregate for fence post installations.
*Pea Gravel retains heat, which can have an adverse effect on some plants. Before using pea gravel as landscape rock in your flower bed or garden, we recommend researching your plants ability to last in pea gravel.
