Deadwood Avenue Phase 2 Reconstruction

Client South Dakota Department of Transportation
Date May 2025 – October 2025

This project involved the realignment of a historically challenging roadway to improve safety and provide a smoother, more comfortable driving experience. The newly straightened road required the movement of over 60,000 cubic yards of earth and the installation of 500 feet of reinforced concrete pipe (RCP). Approximately 19,000 tons of base course and more than 6,500 tons of asphalt were placed, resulting in a safer, more durable roadway for all users.
