Wall Municipal Airport

Client City of Wall
Date April 2023 – November 2023

This project consisted of the complete reconstruction of the runway at the Wall Municipal Airport. The existing 3,500-foot runway was removed and replaced with a new 4,500-foot runway to better accommodate modern aviation needs. Work included moving approximately 90,000 cubic yards of earth, installing over 1,000 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), placing 24,000 tons of gravel, and paving 10,000 tons of asphalt. The upgraded runway improves safety, functionality, and overall efficiency for airport operations and travelers alike.
